Registration FAQ

Membership cap information Arisia enforces a membership cap so that we can plan ahead to provide the services of the convention to everyone. We calculate attendance relative to the cap based on the number of memberships pre-committed for each day plus the number of walk-ins. It is normal for us to have different numbers of memberships available on different days. If you are coming to con for a single day, check the status on this website FIRST. Email info@arisia.org or reg@arisia.org if you have other questions about this policy.

Q: How do I register online?
A: Please register here. If you have attended Arisia in the past, you already have an account, and will just need to do a password reset. If this is your first Arisia, you will need to create an account.

Once logged into the Registration website there will be a "Register" option front and center. Just select your membership type, set your options and properties, and click proceed. To pay for your membership click the "Process Invoice" button which will bring you to the Paypal site.

Q: Do I need a PayPal account to pay online?
A: No. You can use your credit card on the PayPal site, without a PayPal account.

Q: How can I check to see if I am already registered?
A: Once online Registration is open, you'll be able to login and check your status.

Q: I haven't been to Arisia in a very long time, do I already have an account?
A: Yes you do! Please do a "Password Reset" on the registration login screen using the email address that you think you were using last time you attended the convention.

Q: Can I purchase memberships for other people If I already have a membership?
A: Yes! Just log into your account and click on the "Register" button. You can either select a member who's account you have formed a link with, or do a write-in registration.

Q: How can I check to see if my child is already registered?
A: If you have not linked their account with yours you can't access their account directly. Please email registration@arisia.org and ask for your child's account to be linked. If you have linked their account with yours, it will show up on your CONGO home page beneath your current registration status.

Q: How do I directly access the accounts for my children?
A: If you have used a separate email address to register your child in the past, please just do a password reset with that email address. Otherwise, email registration@arisia.org and we'll get you set up.

Q: Can I check to see if someone else is already registered?
A: If you have a link with the person, their registration status will show up on your CONGO home page beneath your current registration status. Otherwise, due to privacy concerns, Arisia does NOT give out information regarding their members. If you are inquiring about the registration status of a family member, please email registration@arisia.org.

A: Yes! Even newborns need to be registered for Arisia. Please register them with a no-cost Kid-In-Tow type membership.

A: Kid-In-Tow are no-cost memberships for when your child will be in the presence of a responsible adult with their own membership at all time.

Turtle Track (formerly Childcare or Babysitting) is for children between the ages of 2-6 who will be partaking in babysitting services while at the convention. These memberships follow the "full rate" cost structure. More information on Turtle Track.
