Maker Workshops

Arisia Programming is pleased to announce a full slate of Art and Maker workshops for 2015!

This year, we welcome the return of our popular chain mail workshops. Come learn the basics in Chainmail 101, or go to the next level with a Byzantine Weave. If you've got the basics covered, come learn how to make decorative chain flowers at the Make a Scale Flower class. Some of these classes will be offered more than once, so if you can't arrive early, you won't necessarily miss out!

Going beyond chain mail, if you've got a ton of old electronics sitting around, our Circuit Bending class will show you how to turn your old toys into new ones! In Soldering 101, you'll learn your way around a soldering iron. If fiber arts is your thing, learn to make your own Renfaire Rosette from scraps.

Please note that all workshops have limited enrollment. Sign-ups will be available at con on a first-come basis. Also, be prepared for a small materials fee. Sign-ups will be available at the Program Nexus. Also, please note that Program Nexus has moved to the Executive Boardroom. Our new location is past Registration on the Mezzanine level.

A full list of the offerings in the Art and Maker Track are available on our website: http://www.arisia.org/Tracks#ArtMaker. For our full schedule in multiple formats, please go to http://www.arisia.org/publications#Schedule.
